Doux Amour currently accepts orders at our store, located at 68 Bay Street, Ultimo NSW 2007, via Instagram and Facebook @douxamourpatisserie, or online via our website at www.douxamour.com.au. It is essential that all confirmed orders have written documentation.


For same-day orders, in the event that a specific Animal Choux character and/or a particular patisserie item/flavour is unavailable upon payment, Doux Amour reserves the right to arrange an alternative item/flavour replacement for the order. The store cannot guarantee availability of all products at the time of the order was made online. To avoid disappointment, we recommend confirming orders via payment at least 72 hours before pick-up or delivery is required.


Changes to orders are permissible at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time and at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time. However, this is subjected to Doux Amour’s written approval. All requests for changes must be submitted in writing and is advisable to be either via Instagram or via Facebook direct message to ensure fastest response/confirmation time can be achieved.


All product prices on the site are in Australian Dollars, inclusive of 10% GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. Should the price change within 24 hours of a purchase, customers can cancel their order without penalty.


Payments can be made online via MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, or PayPal. Payment via EFT requires orders to be made directly via Instagram and/or Facebook and is subject to approval.


Once an order is made, cancellation is possible with at least 48 hours advanced notice of the delivery or pick-up date and time. All order cancellations must be submitted in writing either via direct message on Instagram, Facebook, or via the Contact Us section at www.douxamour.com.au. No refunds will be provided for orders that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice due to costs incurred by the initiation of an order. This includes all orders made within 48 hours of pick-up or delivery time so please choose carefully before making any orders within 48 hours of pick-up or delivery. In the event the order is cancelled after the delivery or pick-up has been made, Doux Amour cannot issue a refund. This includes cancellation due to change of mind, acts of God and other unforeseeable circumstances.


It is the ordering party’s responsibility to pick-up the order at the selected time when confirming the order with Doux Amour Sydney or until before closing time. It is not Doux Amour Sydney’s responsibility to contact the customer to remind them to pick up their order. Doux Amour reserves the right to dispose of the order,should the customer fail to pick up. These orders will not be issued a refund.

If an order cannot be fulfilled by Doux Amour after purchase has been completed, or a suitable replacement cannot be agreed upon, then a full refund will be issued.

If Doux Amour cannot deliver or fulfill a paid order on the agreed date stated on the invoice upon purchase, or no alternate delivery date can be agreed upon by both parties, then a full refund will be issued by Doux Amour.

Refund requests due to irreparable and irreplaceable damages during transit must be reported in writing to orders@douxamour.com.au, or via direct message to our Instagram or Facebook with photographic evidence no later than 30 minutes after receipt of the order. Doux Amour will not liable for any damage nor injury over and above the cost of the order. 

Once both parties have agreed that a refund is to be issued the customer should allow up to 5 business days for transfer of funds to be available in the nominated account.


Neither Doux Amour, nor any of its third-party delivery services shall be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay, results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including, but not limited to, any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, act of government, act of war, act of terror, or an act from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.


Doux Amour’s products offerings comprise of a mixture of items which may have nut, dairy, gluten, eggs, and other potential allergens present. Any customer suffering from any form of allergies should inform and/or confirm with one of our team members regarding his/her intended item(s) prior to purchasing and/or ordering. Doux Amour will not be held responsible for anyone suffering from intolerance or allergies.
